Ted returns from Palm Springs and apologizes to the girls, even though Emmett has already replaced the money. Emmett refuses to admit there's a problem even when Ted "convinces" Emmett to join him in some crystal meth. Hunter reveals that he knew the "Dumpster Boy", Jason Kemp, and saw the kid go off with the cop who could have killed him. Debbie goes to Horvath, but he tells her that Stockwell cold-cased it. Brian enlists Hunter and Justin's help to discover the identity of the cop, but Hunter changes the plan and goes off on his own with the guy.

Scott Lowell : Ted's describing what it's like to be on the crystal meth and how it finally silences all those voices in his head that are always telling him that he's ugly and he's for shit and all this kind of stuff. He says that it finally makes him feel hot and sexy, the way Brian must feel all the time. There's something very engaging about that for Ted, and very much something he desires for himself because it's so far from how he feels about himself that he almost can't imagine it. It's a grass-is-always-greener thing. His life would be perfect if he could have as much sex as Brian is having and have people look at him the same way people look at Brian. I think in the end that's the hold these drugs have on him.
