Teleplay by : Michael MacLennan Story by : Ron Cowen - Daniel Lipman - Michael MacLennan Directed by : Bruce McDonald
Melanie considers a second child, but Lindsay considers it out of the question. Brian is fucking young blonds with visions of Justin in his head and starts monopolizing Michael's time. Justin considers dropping out of school due to cash-flow problems until Brian insists on honoring their original financial agreement. Justin goes back to working with Michael on Rage to pay Brian back. Emmett has a quickie with a pre-Ted arrangement named Dijon...like the mustard.
Scott Lowell : Ted almost goes through a Chinatown kind of moment there of "My mother, my sister, my mother and my sister". Where it's "Who am I? Am I your best friend or your lover?" I love that scene. It was challenging to play to get those gearshifts back and forth. It was terrific that it happened that early on in the process of adjusting from best friends into lovers.
