It’s a sad day for Michael when his favorite superhero makes his last appearance on the comic-book page. In the real world an actual death rocks Liberty Avenue when Debbie finds the body of a young club kid in the trash behind the diner, but it’s a homophobic cop and the general indifference of the gay community that really pisses Debbie off. Emmett introduces hi new old beau, George, to his friends. While searching for her granny’s wedding dress, Lindsay finds a not-so-dirty little secret - letters from her granny Faye’s female lover.

Daniel Lipman : When you do a network show, there are commercials making the show take place in four acts. Films are usually three acts. When we started the first season of Queer as Folk, we were writing in four acts, since it was something we were used to. Now we’ve changed to the three-act structure, but there are no breaks. You don’t see it, but you feel it. Internally there’s a structure. You know that you have to build to a certain point, get to a point. There is a structure to storytelling. And I believe very strongly in good storytelling.
