Brian’s sister insists that he take more of an active role in their mom’s life and tricks him into taking her to a church service that’s coincidentally led by a guy he fucked at the baths. Ted is exhausted from work and takes some Viagra to help when he has the potential for action, but gets the boner that won’t die. Much to Debbie’s chagrin, Michael and Ben reunite and partake in some safe sex.



Scott Lowell : I know some fans go upset when Michael started dating Ben and Ted was very much against it -very much against him dating a person who was HIV-positive. People got up in arms: “How dare he? Who is he to say?” But I totally came out of the fact that Ted loves this guy. He didn’t want to see him hurt in any way, physically or emotionally. It’s why I think Ted kind of tangles with Brian so much. There’s that little bit of seeing the manipulation that Brian puts Michael through and wanting to protect Michael, and also being jealous of the fact that Michael’s attentions are more on Brian than on Ted.
