Teleplay by : Efrem Seeger Story by : Ron Cowen - Daniel Lipman - Efrem Seeger Directed by : David Wellington
Melanie and Lindsay announce their plans to marry. Justin attends his first day of classes at art school, but his hand shakes uncontrollably as he tries to draw. Ted’s being unemployed leads him into depression and marathon jack-off sessions in which he won’t leave his condo. After almost getting into another rut job, he realizes that his true mission in life is to produce on-line porn. And Michael finally discovers his dream after quitting the Big Q and buying a comic-book store.
Peter Paige : There’s a trio on this show of Brian, Emmett, and Melanie -and sometimes Debbie is in that slot- but they’re the characters who live their lives by some credo. They’re out there saying what they think. Everyone else is stuck in the middle somewhere trying to get to one side or the other, and they kind of vacillate back and forth, but the trio stands their ground.
