Michael is uncomfortable playing the "stepmother" to David's visiting son until he realizes the boy's issues have more to do with his father's need to schedule every minutes of their time together. Ted, feeling stuck in a rut, decides to explore the world of S&M. Brian is told that his father, Jack, is dying of cancer. In turn, Brian admits that he is gay to an unwelcome reception, but later introduces Jack to his grandson.

Gale Harold : As of yet, I don’t think Brian has really learned the true meaning of love. And I mean love without conditions. He demonstrates lovelike qualities in crisis (Justin’s attack) or when ulterior motives like control or self-preservation dictate. And although these are versions of loyalty and devotion, Brian has yet to initiate a genuinely selfless act. And to be fair, his friends, whatever their motivations, tend to enable him in this. I hope we can look forward to the moments when Brian Kinney finds himself compelled by nothing more than his heart.

Casting : Albert Chung : Chinese Delivery Guy Ryan Cooley : Hank Cameron
