After Brian kicks Justin out of the loft, the teen heads for New York City, forcing Brian and the guys to take a road trip to follow. They find Justin and return him to Pittsburgh, where he moves into Debbie's house. Conversely, Michael decides not to move in with David, causing the doctor to end the relationship. Lindsay tells Melanie that she wants to stay at home with the baby instead of returning to work, and Melanie makes a financial sacrifice to make the wish come true.
Thea Gill : I’ve been told by people in the business that the mom role is always so boring. I don’t agree. I enjoy playing the mom. I think it’s just because I love children. I’m not a mom myself so it gives me a way to express my maternal instincts through the role. But, there’s a reason for Lindsay to be searching for something other than being a mom too. There’s a reason for her to want to break out of being at home and staying at home and allowing Melanie to go to work. This gives the character a chance to break out when we get to season three.
