Michael and David exhibit all the telltale signs of a " relationship," capped off with a weekend in the country. Brian interrupts the romantic weekend with a call to Michael to tell him about an accident that totaled his jeep. But it was no accident. Justin's dad was driving the second car in a rage after finding out thats his son was gay and presumably seduced into the life by an older man.
Peter Paige : What I love about this show is we’re allowed to be complicated. We’re allowed to be mean to each other. We’re allowed to make mistakes in a way that most TV characters aren’t. Most TV characters are perfect – particularly the leads. God knows that’s not true on this show. I think that friendships are the heart of the show. I like the fact that, like my group of friends, we make mistakes. We fuck each other up and we’re allowed to betray each other, intentionally or unintentionally. I think that’s really, really human and that’s the part of friendship you don’t see on television. Usually the friends are always there and always perfect. My friends aren’t like that. Nobody knows how to hurt me more than my friends do.
