Sharon Gless : I was calling Ron on the phone saying things like “I’ve got this great idea. She has a different wig every day. Wouldn’t that be great?” And when I got there, they wouldn’t let me use the wigs. I’d brought seventeen of them. They said that Showtime didn’t want to hide the fact that it was Sharon Gless. I said, “Once I open my mouth, everyone will know it’s me.”
