Jennifer realizes what her son really needs to heal emotionally, and she asks Brian to take Justin in. Melanie finally accepts Lindsay’s marriage proposal. Michael’s been partying a lot since he got back to Pittsburgh, and due to financial constraints, he’s forced to go back to work as assistant manager at Big Q. Ted is fired for watching on-line gay porn while at work. Emmett considers a butt lift and gets a job as a nude waiter to pay for it.
Scott Lowell : Season two was all about Ted coming into his own. Accounting had been this guy’s life. It was something that he could count on, because it was reliable and safe and he tends to go with what’s safe. He took a big step going down in the dungeon with leather master Dale in season one. That was a huge growth moment for him, but it wasn’t really complete until he started the website. It was all part of the evolution. As an actor you don’t always know where these growth moments are going to come in as part of the arc, but it’s nice to look back and see how nicely they progressed.
